NCS to stock US Dreamcast consoles

National Console Support, one of the largest online import gaming retailers, has confirmed that they will stock US Dreamcast consoles. Earlier, NCS announced that, barring unforeseen circumstances, they will perform mod work on Dreamcast consoles.

This is great news to potential US Dreamcast buyers who plan to import games, in particular those who dislike mailing their systems across the country to get them modded. Now, gamers can buy their Dreamcasts and have them modded even before the consoles arrive in the mail.

Due to the fact that they are still refining their modding technique on the DC, NCS has not yet begun to accept Dreamcast mod work. But it's reasonable to assume that they will have the service ready by the time the US console is released, or shortly thereafter. Judging from past history, it is reasonable to speculate that the mod service will cost in the neighborhood of $30.

NCS is a well-established import store, and they can be trusted. Throughout my 3 year buying history with them, they have always had both competitive prices and consistently excellent service. This editor recommends NCS as the first option for everyone's importing needs.
