New Zelda games on the way!It was recently announced that Flagship, along with Nintendo, will be developing at least six new Zelda games. Flagship is headed by Yoshiki Okamoto. The company is known for creating the stories of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 and Dino Crisis. Two of the six games will be remakes of the old NES Zelda games. There is no news yet if the titles will be altered in any way, However, knowing what Nintendo has done to other remakes of older games (Super Mario Brothers DX, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX) there may be added features. One original GBC game has been announced as well. The game, which translates into The Legend of Zelda: The Mysterious Acorn, will be shown at Space World which is held on August 27-29. For those who are wondering, Space World is an annual Nintendo-only event held in Japan.
Zelda: Gaiden will also be shown at Space World. The game, which was originally supposed to be for the 64DD, will be in cartridge form on the N64. Zelda: Gaiden will use the same engine The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time used. Look for more information on this game as well as the other Zelda games as soon as more news surfaces.
