Tribute to Mana

The following is my mini tribute to the mana series. I first played Secret of Mana when it was released in 1993 and that prompted me to find the Gameboy game, Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu in Japan). I must say that I was quite pissed when Square announced that they cancelled the release of Secret of Mana 2 in the U.S. (Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan), but other than that, the Mana series has brought me nothing but joy! Now, without further ado, here is a flashback of Mana multimedia!

Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu)

Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu)
This Gameboy game was farly simplistic compared to the other Mana games, but for a car trip, it was a life saver!

Pictures - 11 screen shots, front and back U.S. packaging scans, and the front and back scans of the map packaged with the U.S. version.

Real Media - I'm crazy right? Gameboy music? Well, it may not be the best, but I liked some of the catchy tunes. I have two pieces from the game and one orchestrated medley. Find them in the real audio section.

Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2)

Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2)
Three player action RPG with lots of weapons, spells, and unique transportation. What else could a gamer ask for?

Pictures - 25 screen shots, front and back U.S. packaging scans, player's guide scans, Nintendo Power cover scan, an ad from Nintendo Power, and 205 GIFs!

Real Media - 13 real audio files from selected tracks in the game. Find them in the real audio section.

Seiken Densetsu 3

Seiken Densetsu 3
Who knows what kind of frenzy this game would have caused if it had made it to the U.S.?

Pictures - 32 screen shots, and 6 pieces of artwork.

Real Media - 2 real audio files of this spendid music. Find them in the real audio section.

I hope you enjoyed this walk down memory lane. I know I did!
