Neo Geo Pocket Color RPGs!The Neo Geo Pocket boasts good graphics (for a handheld), a long battery life, and isn't tied to arcade games like the Neo Geo was. So there's no reason for it not to host some RPGs. And it does!Bio Motor Yunitron was released on the 15th of April. It's a science fiction fantasy RPG, featuring a robot that gets to beat up monsters and hang around cute characters, all around a landmass called Tridiss. The game costs 3,200 Yen, and is by Yumekobo. In May another Neo Geo Pocket RPG is expected, this time by Sacnoth. It's called Dive Alert, and features ocean exploration and submarines. The game is more simulation based, with lots of (Japanese) dialogue and sonar reading. However, two versions of the title are available. There are two main characters, Bahn and Rebecca, and there's a version of Dive Alert representing each of them. Both versions cost 3,800 Yen each. The point of this could be linked (bad joke) to Dive Alert's use of the Neo Geo Pocket 'Wireless Communication Unit', which will allow players to battle each other using radio signals transmitted between Neo Geo Pockets. Both Dive Alert and Bio Motor Yunitron are in color when played on the Neo Geo Pocket Color.
