Legend of Mana Movies!Our good friends over at Gaming Intelligence Agency got a hold of some Legend of Mana movies taken from the Tokyo Game Show. Personally, I'm pretty excited about this game because it looks so damn good and it retains the feel of the other games in the series (especially Secret of Mana). When rumors of a new Seiken Densetsu game started flying around, I was skeptical because I couldn't see how they could keep the same style of graphics with the technology we've seen so far on Playstation. Usually, Square RPGs on Playstation either use pre-rendered CG backdrops or fully 3-D polygonal environement and quite honestly, I couldn't see how a Mana game could be made either way. However, the idea of using pre-rendered hand-drawn backdrops instead of CG had never occured to me until I saw the first pics of Saga Frontier 2. Now, THAT is the way RPGs should be made in my opinion (until we get systems powerful enough to handle games using a full 3-D polygonal environment).Are you tired of reading my relentless babble yet?
