More Square Editorials

We've got another response to the original editorial called "SquareSoft: Past, present and future" and we also have a response from the original author to the counter editorial written by editor ff a few days ago. It's fun to see these discussions because unlike some discussions on message boards, these ones are longer and are quite civil because they only express people's opinions without putting anybody down in the process. The original author of the editorial that started this current Square discussion is actually Japanese and his views will automatically be different because what's happening in Japan and in America is quite different and it will obviously make a difference in the way you see things in the gaming industry. However, his current concern about Square is shared by many Square fans in America as shown in our very first poll on the site which asked people if they prefered Square's 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit RPGs. 16-bit RPGs won with 57% of the votes.

In any case, you can check out both editorials by going to the editorials section.
