Once again, it's that time of the year when RPGFan picks its Games of the Year. This was an interesting year in that there were few clear choices for "best," and every category and subgenre had strong nominees. We saw excellent sequels to beloved franchises and fantastic new intellectual properties. Outside of RPGs and graphic adventures, we saw plenty of great games in myriad other genres. Along with our sitewide picks for games in various categories and the always-exciting Reader's Choice award, several editors chime in once again with their top RPG picks for the year as well as any extra tidbits they wish to share, be they disappointment, wishful thinking, or other bits of celebration. We hope you find some of your favorites here, and even if you don't, realize that while there may not have been an alpha-dog title to stand above the rest, there were several A-grade titles to select from and choosing was not easy. So without further ado, we present to you RPGFan's Games of the Year 2013.
