The word "port" typically doesn't carry an exciting connotation. The act of releasing an existing game on a new platform is frequently seen as a cash-grabbing practice, but when it comes to companies like Atlus, we always know we're in for something more. Our expectations were surpassed once again with the deliciously content-rich Persona 4 Golden. Rather than adding a tweak here and there, Atlus gave the game a makeover from top to bottom, and the results are incredibly satisfying. A vastly expanded story allows for more intimate connections with the game's loveable cast, new music delights the ears at every turn, and new goals — both inside the TV World and out — make the game as addictive as ever for both newbies and long-time fans. Persona 4 Golden not only looks beautiful on the Playstation Vita, but it's a practical port, too; never before has such a compelling world been so readily accessible. Welcome back to Inaba.
