Spells, Yells, and Knells
One of the great joys for us here at the Fable studio was seeing the new spells plopped into the game one by one. Not only did they provide the player with novel toys, but as they went in one by one we noticed certain synergies and play-styles developing. We now share these with you:

Evil Emperor: Force Push + Lightning
Force Push is the ultimate cat-and-mouse toy. Let enemies run at you screaming — closer, closer still and — whubong! See the silly man fly, slam into a tree and take masses of damage! Going from 60 to 0 in 0.5 seconds is prone to detach a few vertebrae! Ahahahaha. Tired of slow service in the local inn? Whubong! Smash every window in the entire building with a shockwave!

Although you start your heroic life with Lightning, it is much ignored - up until you realise how effective its chain effect is. Against one enemy, it is relatively satisfying. But what if there are four enemies charging at you? No problem for the high-level Lightning user! Zap away, and watch every one of them writhe in agony even as they run, their skin blistering to black smoky meat.

The only problem with Lightning, of course, is that they can still keep running, even while screaming in pain. That's where the pure, joyous evil of Force Push comes into play. As they scream toward you smoking slightly you alter your hand-movements and — Whubong! Off they fly! You can even fry them while they lie on the floor! Rinse, repeat and muahaha your way into an evil electro frenzy. Or something.
