For the first time as part of our annual "Most Anticipated Games" feature, we asked you what you're most looking forward to in 2014. While some of you questioned us for not including games that have yet to be announced... those games have yet to be announced, so we focused only on real, tangible games that may release in 2014. Trust us, we want to see Fallout 4 as well! But that's a topic for another day.
Now, bask in the glory of Geralt, your choice for Most Anticipated Game of 2014, beating out even the strong competition in Dragon Age: Inquisition, Legend of Heroes, and Persona 5.
You have spoken, and Geralt has heard your summons. Perhaps because of 2013's relative drought of Western-style RPGs or perhaps because this looks like it's going to be the defining RPG of this age, you selected The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as your most anticipated RPG of 2014. You must be just as brimming with excitement as we are to immerse ourselves in Geralt's world once again, one in which the real monsters are human beings. This is Geralt's third and final tale, and we can only hope he regains all his memories and that his true love awaits him. The conclusion might be sweet, but we can't wait for the journey.
Now if only we can get a release date, or at least a release date for the release date.
