November 29, 2013 By now, you know that we love music here at RPGFan. Enough so that after reviewing hundreds of soundtracks, we finally rebranded the section RPGFan Music, which even has its own podcast, Rhythm Encounter. When we learned that Loudr was hosting a Game Music Festival this weekend and we had an opportunity to be a part of it, of coruse we were on board. Celebrate independent artists, showcase their works, and talk to a few of them? How could we say no?

What you'll find here are interviews with three musicians you may be familiar with: Zack Parrish, who composed the excellent soundtrack to Valdis Story: Abyssal City. Next is TPR, who has so far released four albums of Final Fantasy music arranged in a slow, moody, 'melancholy' style. Finally, we talk once again with Kan Gao, creator and composer of indie darling To The Moon about his next endeavors.

Additionally, we have the debut of three album reviews that will be available at special Festival-only prices. Erutan's A Bard's Side Quest, a collection of vocal arrangements from some of the best music in the RPG world is new to RPGFan, as are the soundtracks to Acts I & II of surreal graphic adventure Kentucky Route Zero.
