Indie darling and farming mega-hit Stardew Valley recently received a patch (1.4) on Steam. Dubbed as the "everything patch" because it touched every single corner of the game, from farm layouts, to new cutscenes to brand new tools and utilities for your farm, nothing was spared! And now those who play on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox One don't have to wait any longer, as the newest patch has launched on consoles. Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, confirmed this late on Monday, and fans (including some of us at RPGFan) were eager to get started and check out all of the new additions to the game. The creator also confirmed that the patch would be releasing on iOS and Android next month.

Shortly after the initial patch launched on Steam, ConcernedApe confirmed all of the updates and fixes that were implemented into the game on his website, so if you can't wait and want to see everything patch 1.4 has to offer, you can check out the patch notes right here, with additional changes in 1.4.x on the SDV blog, like the important update in 1.4.1, "Vincent now loves snails."

If you're looking for the perfect gift to get someone this holiday season, then Stardew Valley might just be it. It's the perfect game to wind down with. You can get it on pretty much everything, too: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux, so what are you waiting for? Check out and see how much we loved it in our review, and if that's not enough to convince you, it also made our Top 25 Games of the 2010s!
