BlizzCon 2019 is in full swing, which means some exciting new titles are on the horizon! Along with the announcement of Overwatch 2, Blizzard also revealed two new entries in their most popular franchises, with the reveal of Diablo IV and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Check out these sleek new cinematic trailers below!

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

First, let's take a look at World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the upcoming expansion to the hit MMORPG World of Warcraft. Shadowlands will introduce a brand new continent to the World of Warcraft, giving players a whole new exciting landscape to explore. The Shadowlands themselves seem to be different than any other area introduced in the game before, giving off a more ethereal and ghostly vibe compared to other continents.

While there aren't many details to go off of currently, it seems that Shadowlands will put a large emphasis on player choice, where the decisions and factions the player sides with will have a large impact on the game itself. With a planned release date of 2020, it's only a matter of time until we can explore this exciting new land!

Diablo IV

Next we'll take a look at the long anticipated new entry in the critically acclaimed dungeon crawling, loot hauling spectacular, Diablo IV! Going back to the series' roots, Diablo IV aims to be far darker and grittier than its previous entry, feeling akin to Diablo and Diablo II.

As for the gameplay itself, players will be able to encounter other friendly players throughout the world of Diablo IV in numerous towns, but just because they're your friend in a city doesn't mean they'll be so friendly when encountered in one of the world's brand new PvP areas. Blizzard aims to combine the sense of fear and dread from the original Diablo, the high-stakes loot of Diablo II, and the combat style of Diablo III. Set to release for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, Diablo IV aims to be the best entry in the series so far!
