Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the latest installment of Coming This Week! We've got some great new releases coming down the pipeline, with a long-awaited loot-and-shoot game and a new Spiders RPG coming out around the same time (that's Spiders the studio, not the arachnid or the superhero). A bit of a lighter week for us at RPGFan, but no less exciting for it. Let's dive in.

GreedFall - September 10th (PS4, XB1, Windows)

Say what you will about the French development studio Spiders (Mars: War Logs, Bound By Flame, The Technomancer), their games are all interesting, even if they've never quite stumble upon true greatness. Their latest title, GreedFall, is set to whisk players away to a 17th-century inspired fantasy world this Tuesday. A decision-heavy WRPG themed around colonialism certainly has potential, and hopefully GreedFall lives up to expectations. For more information, check out our preview from last year's E3.

Utawarerumono: ZAN - September 10th (PS4)

The Utawarerumono games are known for two things: one, their unique mix of strategy RPG gameplay and visual novel elements, and two, having titles that I will absolutely never, ever get tired of typing out. ZAN is an action spin-off of the mainline Utawarerumono titles with numerous characters from the series showing up to beat the stuffing out of baddies. Even more exciting, it includes co-op and will be out this Tuesday for PlayStation 4.

Walking Dead fans and those mourning the loss of Telltale, rejoice and take some solace, respectively. This bundle of all four seasons of the acclaimed series went up for preorder last month via the Epic Games Store, and now it's here this Tuesday. It includes a bevy of commentary and extra features. There's also a physical version for PS4 and Xbox One. Time to make some difficult choices and deal with some zombies.

Borderlands 3 Screenshot

Borderlands 3 - September 13th (PS4, XB1, Windows, Stadia)

At long last, Gearbox Software's magnum opus is back and ready for more looting-and-shooting action. Borderlands 3 has been a long time coming, with Gearbox dutifully keeping the series going with rereleases and Pre-Sequels in the interim. After studio scandals and Randy Pitchford's... well, Randy Pitchford-ness, will the final product live up to the hype? I suppose we'll have to find out on September 13th.

And that's all for now, folks! Stay tuned to RPGFan for more information on your favorite video game genre, and we'll see you all next week.
