Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth Review
A stylish goodbye to the 3DS!
06.20.19 - 7:42 AM

Can you really believe this is the end of the 3DS? Nintendo's handheld juggernaut came out back in 2011 and has dominated since. We've lived through two generations of Pokémon, seen the rebirth of Fire Emblem, experienced the excellent remakes of the N64 Zelda games, and witnessed the creation of a new series from Square Enix in the Bravely games. That's not everything the 3DS has ever given us in terms of RPGs, either!

But eight years have passed, and with the Switch's booming popularity, it's time to put our old friend to rest, and what better way to do that than by going to the cinema with the Phantom Thieves!

As the final major release on the handheld, Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth follows on from 2013 Persona Q and sees the SEES from Persona 3 and the Investigation Team from Persona 4 team up with Atlus' latest band of misfits, the Phantom Thieves, from Persona 5. Joe Czop is here with his thoughts on the game's lengthy campaign, and it's fair to say he thinks this is a worthy send-off for the 3DS.
