Nintendo and Intelligent systems have introduced a new character, Manuela, through new screenshots, art, and a new trailer. This teacher at Garreg Mach Monastery's Imperial Academy is a former singing diva whose career peaked at the Mittel Frank Opera Company in the Imperial capital. A boisterous yet caring and kind teacher, Manuela can often be seen on the school grounds lamenting not meeting the man of her dreams.

Both a teacher and medic, Manuela is something of a mentor to the main hero. Her Japanese voice is provided by the talented Sachiko Kojima who is known for her work as Taki in the Soul Calibur series, as well as parts in Valkyria Chronicles 4 and the Sakura Wars series.
