Bandai Namco has released some new details and screenshots from the upcoming mobile Tales game, Tales of Crestoria. These new images show off new characters, a familiar face, and shed some light on the game's combat system.

First up, we can see some 3D renders of Aegis Alver, Yuna Azetta, and Orwin Granberry, three of the game's original characters. Also pictured below is artwork of Cress Albane, a returning character from Tales of Phantasia.

Tales of Crestoria's gameplay is turn-based, which is quite the departure from series tradition. Players will select commands for their party of four using the menu on the bottom of the screen, and once their turn is complete, it will be the enemy's turn to attack.

Characters have access to powerful Artes they can use in battle, and can gain advantage over an enemy by paying attention to their attributes and selecting an appropriate attack. As damage is dealt to an enemy, the player's HIT number will increase, and damage will go up accordingly. Additionally, an Over Limit gauge will build during battle, and once it's full, the player can use a powerful Mystic Arte.
