Romantic Visual Novel Song of Memories Gets Western Release Date, Switch Version Cancelled
The PS4 version is on track for a February release.

PQube has announced that Song of Memories, a romantic visual novel with light role-playing and rhythm game elements, will be coming to PlayStation 4 in the West on February 1st. Originally announced for PS4 and Switch, the Switch port has regrettably been cancelled.

"While the PlayStation 4 version and the special Encore Edition are confirmed, we regrettably had to cancel the Nintendo Switch version of the game," says PQube. This is due to "development complications" that prevented the Switch version from being of acceptable quality. Nevertheless, the PS4 version is on track, along with the Encore Edition; this nifty collector's edition is available from the Rice Digital Store and comes with a smartphone charm, art book, and other goodies.
