An announcement may be impending.

Following the reveal of Joker as a downloadable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, many Persona fans speculated that an announcement from Atlus regarding a port of Persona 5 was imminent. While nothing has been confirmed at this time, Atlus has made a number of intriguing domain name registrations, all of which seem to point to the Persona brand.

Persona 5 Domain Names Registered

These domains were registered by Ryo's Office on December 26th (Roy's Office is a marketing company that has handled several Atlus domains in the past). They include "Persona5R.jp," "P5B.jp," "Persona5B.jp," "P5M.jp," "Persona5M.jp," "P5S.jp," and "Persona5S.jp." The funny thing is, there was already a "P5R.jp" domain, which has now been moved to Atlus' servers, suggesting that a website may soon appear. As to what any of these mean, it's hard to say, but one would speculate that Atlus is potentially planning to bring Persona 5 to other platforms: that "S" in one of the domain names sticks out to me, seeing as Dragon Quest XI's Switch port has a similar name. But hey, I'm just hypothesizing!
