Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy showcasing gameplay mechanics players are set to find in this upcoming title. Check it out below!
Players will be able to use the Buddy System, giving their Chocobo the ability to recruit NPC and monster allies to fight alongside them. The Job System, a staple of Final Fantasy titles, is also present, allowing players to shift between Jobs at a drop of a hat, utilizing different strategies on the fly.
Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy sounds like a rip-roaring homage to what Final Fantasy is to the fan, and I personally can't wait to play it. The title launches in Japan on March 20th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It has also been confirmed for release in the West but a release date has not yet been announced.
