The majority of Arc of Alchemist takes place in an unending desert, full of monsters and danger. Since constantly being bombarded by monsters isn't much fun, our intrepid adventures will have to set up a base in the heart of the desert, which the player characters will call home for most of the game!

Players will be allowed to freely customize their base, setting up new buildings and facilities which will help future adventures into the desert. Players who are keenly aware of how to place their facilities will acquire extra bonuses, such as finding higher quality materials while adventuring, and greater results from training sessions.

As mentioned above, the base is more than just a place to rest. Players will be able to train up their party before heading into their desert, insuring greater odds of survival while out in the sandy unknown. Along with training, players can also assign key items to their party, helping them to accomplish specific tasks during missions. For example, giving your party the "Recon Team Set" will help the party while performing exploration missions, allowing the party to travel further before having to come back to base. Aside from these key items, players will also be able to buy and sell equipment before heading out, and be able to change party formations and tactics. In Arc of Alchemist, preparation will be of upmost importance, so always make sure to be prepared before heading out!

Arc of Alchemist is set to release on February 7th, 2019 in Japan, with a western release scheduled for the Summer of 2019. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on your favorite RPGs!
