Nelke is a busy alchemist, but how does she balance work and social life? Koei Tecmo released new details for Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World, including information on work schedules and hangout time with friends.

Overall, the game is divided into two phases: Weekdays and Holidays. On Weekdays, Nelke fulfills requests and helps build the town. Various characters throughout the Atelier series are available to perform such tasks as alchemy research, shopkeeping, and exploring for new materials. Alchemy research in particular gains you new recipes, rare items, and items to help with town building. Each character has their own special trait, so make sure you keep that in mind when you set someone on a task!

On the other hand, Holidays are dedicated to building relationships with town residents. Building relationships involves either completing requests for certain characters or hanging out with them directly. The higher your friendship, the more likelihood of good things happening. Also, as a crossover game, many characters throughout the Atelier series will interact with each other throughout various events.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World releases on December 13th in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. North America and Europe are expected to receive the game on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC during Winter 2018. Check back at RPGFan for future details!
