Nintendo Shows Off Indie Titles with "Nindies Summer 2018" Presentation
Lots of neat games coming to the Switch!
08.29.18 - 12:38 AM

Yesterday, Nintendo broadcasted a mini-Direct presentation focused on indie games that will be released on the Nintendo Switch in the near future. Of course, any RPGs on the list are out primary concern, which is why we've prepared this handy list of release dates and trailers for games shown during the Nindies Summer 2018 stream that fall within our coverage. So let's dive in...

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut (September 13th)

A classically styled CRPG from the original makers of Fallout, Wasteland 2 is once again here to whisk away even more players to its post-apocalyptic world.

Bastion (September 13th)

Also coming to the Switch this September is Bastion, the first game from Supergiant Games! This is an excellent little action-RPG that ought to be well-suited to the handheld console.

Undertale (September 18th)

After some delay, Undertale is finally making its debut on Switch, arriving on September 18th. Finally!

Transistor (November 2018)

Hey, another Supergiant game! While slightly less beloved than its predecessor (or maybe that's just me?), this cyberpunk-infused adventure is still worth experiencing if you haven't done so already. Come on, Red, you can do it... play it on the Switch... it's ok.

Into the Breach (Available Now!)

Last, but certainly not least, the excellent strategy game Into the Breach is available... right now! I don't know about you, but I'm getting major Front Mission vibes from this one. That's a good thing, I promise.

...whew, that's exciting! There's more to be seen, so if you missed it, check out the entire Nindies presentation down below.
