The Dark Souls series has become one of the hallmark franchises in gaming, and Bandai Namco is now giving it the deluxe treatment with the Dark Souls Trilogy collection. This set comes with Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition (meaning all three games will have their DLC offerings included), all packaged in a spiffy steelbook case. The collection will retail for $79.99 USD and is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners on October 19th.

According to Jenn Tsang, the Marketing Brand Manager for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., "The magic of Dark Souls lies within its ability to challenge players with highly rewarding gameplay and deliver a euphoric sense of accomplishment... we hope to share that feeling with new players through Dark Souls Trilogy." This does seem like a great opportunity for those who missed the Dark Souls boat to hop in, which is always a good thing in my book.
