Owners of the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition are in for a treat! A new patch arrived late last week, implementing some new features and getting rid of some pesky bugs.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition | Avatar

The biggest part of the update is the addition of online play to the main story. You can now give Noctis a break and swap him out for your custom avatar. You will also be able to see avatars of other players on your map in the form of shadows.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition | Player Photos

Similar to Assassin's Creed Origins, you can also see photos taken by other players on your map and also like them. Players are also able to drop treasure on the field for others to pick up along with limited-time treasure.

On a side note, modders will be happy to hear that Square Enix fixed a bug where a selected mod in the in-game menu wasn't showing up in the game. Other bugs were fixed as well.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is available now. The game is also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but this update is not available for consoles, at least at this time. You can check out our PC review here. We'll keep you posted for more information!
