Get it? Because RPG Maker only had a first-person battle system until MV... I know, it was a welcomed change.

Ahem... NIS America has announced at Anime Expo that the famed RPG creator, RPG Maker MV will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Not only that, but they have a limited version available for pre-order on the NIS America Online Store which features the game, Creator's log, official soundtrack, and collector's box for $59.99 USD.

Check out the announcement trailer below.

The RPG Maker series is known for being one of the easiest to use game creator software out there and is known for creating unique indie RPGs. MV is the latest version giving more customization options, the ability to create both side view and front-view battles, the change from using Ruby to Javascript for scripting, layered tilesets, and high-definition textures. Also, with the separate RPG Maker MV player, gamers are able to download and play created games without needing to have the main software.

RPG Maker MV will release for PS4, XB1, and Switch in 2019. It is currently out for PC, Mac, Linux. Check out our gallery for the game, dood. Yes, I will do that for every NIS article I write from now on (Editor's Note: We can't stop him, he's too powerful.).
