Earlier today, Microsoft premiered an exclusive look at the first official trailer of Fallout 76 at their E3 press conference. Before showing the awaited trailer, Bethesda's Todd Howard took the stage to provide a few more details on the game, stating it would be four times larger than Fallout 4, it's set in West Virginia and that it is a prequel to all previous games in the series. Check out the presentation below.

The trailer shows a few details of the game, most notably the detailed realistic Appalachian setting and the newly constructed Vault 76. The world consists of 6 distinct regions and incorporates the local folklore into the story.

Bethesda's press conference also came with a brief intro to the story; The player character is among the few chosen to spend 25 years underground until Reclamation Day, the day the vault opens. They are then awakened by an overseer to emerge into the West Virginia wasteland.

Fallout 76 is due for release on November 14th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Look forward to RPGFan's ongoing E3 coverage!
