Happy E3, Everyone!!
06.10.18 - 8:53 PM

It's finally here, the week all gamers look forward to the most. There will be plenty of news and hands-on impressions from the staff at E3 this whole week, but that didn't mean last week was anything to scoff at either. So before we look at all the juicy E3 news, let's look back at the buildup week for it. This week we have news from Gino DiGiola, Peter Trienzeberg, Trent Argirov, and Mike Salbato with a review from Caitlin Argyros.

Not too long ago, no one knew who developer CD Projekt RED were. They had a small booth at E3 one year, with a game that not many knew anything about. Thankfully (and rightfully) that game was a smash hit, and now everyone knows about the Witcher games and CD Projekt RED. And now they brought they are bringing a new title, Cyberpunk 2077, with them to E3, and boy does it look good.

Vampires used to be cool, then Twilight happened. Thankfully some brave souls are still trying to bring Vampires back into the cool zone again, and it seems like they got it right on the button. Vampyr is an excellent game that hits that sweet spot between AAA games and indie games that has died over the past couple of years. Caitlin Argyros has all the details in her review.

Repede is best doggo and maybe best character in any RPG. So it saddens me that not many got to play Vesperia despite it still being one of, if not the, best in the Tales of series. And now that won't be the case anymore since Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is on its way for all consoles. A must-play for all JRPG fans and Tales fans alike.

I am not the biggest Dragon Quest fan, but I do love MMOs, so it annoys me that the only Dragon Quest game we will never get in the west is of course X, the one that's an MMO. And now Japan is getting a version of the game that packages all three expansions with the base game. With this new packaged version its the perfect time to maybe think about bringing it over here, but alas I know it will never happen. Maybe one day.

Atlus had two unannounced games for E3, but they spilled the beans before the show and announced Persona 3: Dancing in the Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. These two fun rhythm games are going to be released sometime in early 2019, so practice your dance moves now. I am working on my robot for Aigis.
