Developer Stoic and their publisher Versus Evil have released a new character vignette trailer for their upcoming title The Banner Saga 3.
The new trailer highlights the Varl Bolverk, one of the last of his race of giants as well as the leader of the mercenary band The Ravens. One of the main characters of Banner Saga 2, the trailer tells of his exploits and motivations and teases just a bit of what is to come in the third installment. You can check out the trailer below:
The Banner Saga has quietly become one of my favorite series since its release back in 2014 and I for one am more than a little anxious to see where the and how the journey will end. With the world on the precipice of oblivion, I can only wonder how the last remnants of society will forge a path through their impeding doom. Thankfully, I'll be able to find out for myself in the very near future.
The Banner Saga 3 will release sometime during the Summer of 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
