Many people are excited for Bandai Namco's upcoming Code Vein (dubbed by many as 'Anime Dark Souls'), and the publisher decided to stoke the flames of fandom with a slew of new screenshots. The best part about these shiny screen grabs? They show off some good old jolly cooperation!

Throughout Code Vein, players will have the opportunity to answer requests and help other revenants combating the Lost, meaning your party isn't just restricted to your A.I. companion, but another human player can join you in your dungeon delving. Players will be able to communicate through a combination of gestures, stamps and voice commands to ensure your team's success.

Also revealed in the asset drop are two new NPCs: Cruz and Karen. Karen is the older sister to Louis, a revived revenant, who supports and cares for revenants in battle. Cruz on the other hand, underwent and survived horrific experiments in an attempt to aid mankind, but under the intense pressure of an unsuccessful experiment she became a destructive entity in the world of Code Vein.
