Publisher Circle Entertainment has announced that strategy-RPG Mercenary Saga Chronicles will be launching on February 8th for the Nintendo Switch, in North America, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. In tandem with the announcement, a new trailer has also been released, showcasing a brief look at the title's combat and visual aesthetic. Check it out below!
Mercenary Saga Chronicles will package the first three titles in the series (Mercenaries Saga: Will of the White Lions, Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle, and Mercenaries Saga 3: Gray Wolves of War), for players to enjoy in their entirety.
The Nintendo Switch version of Mercenary Saga Chronicles will also include exclusive features, listed below:
- Enhanced gameplay experience on the Nintendo Switch: redesigned to perfectly fit a 16:9 resolution.
- Numerous Free Battles allow you to power-up characters while offering extra challenges.
- Maps with variable terrains that are decisive in battle – take advantage of your starting position to assist teammates and strike enemies in the back.
- Multiple difficulty settings are available – clearing the game once increases the challenge further!
- A total of 82 campaign chapters, in which your decisions lead to different routes and endings.
- Change classes to acquire high-class skills, and use SP to master them.
- Buy and sell items, and then synthesize them into more powerful gear.
Players will be able to get a 10% discount on the Nintendo eShop if they pre-order before the game releases.
Personally, more strategy-RPGs for the genre can't be a bad thing, and I'm curious to see what Mercenary Saga Chronicles offers players when it arrives.
