Games of the Year 2017: Reader's Choice Voting Opens!
Make yourself heard!
12.24.17 - 4:41 PM

It's time again to talk Games of the Year! 2017 was just ridiculously packed with good games, so that gamers of all interests had no shortage of excellence to choose from. Thankfully, even if we can't talk about Mario Odyssey here (but it's good, get it), there are so many great choices this year that a clear winner in any category is going to be hard to guess. Looking at our staff votes so far, I think we will definitely have more than 2 horses in this race, so we'll see more variety than in 2016.

Of course, we always want to know what you think too, so while we're deliberating on our own picks, we're officially starting to collect your own votes in each category as of today. If you're ready to vote, head on over to our form now:

Voting is now closed.

Voting will be open until the end of the day (11:59pm EST) on January 6th, 2018.

We wanted to wrap this up sooner, but December alone graced us with two vitally important games that run the gamut, with the followup to indie darling To The Moon, Finding Paradise, and of course, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Now that you've likely digested one or both of those, you - and us on staff - can make an informed choice.

The results, along with our own winners, will be announced around mid-January. Please look forward to it!
