Does the musical saga of Valkyrie Profile continue?

I'm little interested in Exist Archive, especially since some claim it to be sort of a spiritual successor to Valkyrie Profile. While I never played VP, I did enjoy the music from the series and have always thought Motoi Sakuraba did a smashing job delivering rocking synth tunes. One day I'll open my copy of Exist Archive to play and enjoy the music, but until then, we have Patrick Gann to give his thoughts on whether or not you (or me) should pick up its soundtrack.
