A special note should be made that these sales include the base game along with the "Dragon Quest XI Double Pack Hero's Sword Box," "New Nintendo 2DS LL Dragon Quest Liquid Metal Slime Edition," and "PlayStation 4 Dragon Quest Loto Edition." Digital Sales were NOT included in this report. Besides the game itself, Dragon Quest XI helped to sell a total of 126,790 units in the 3DS family while also selling 93,954 units in the PlayStation 4 family. Even without all of these numbers, it doesn't take a genius to see that Dragon Quest XI is selling like hotcakes!

Dragon Quest XI released on July 29 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and 3DS, with a western release planned for 2018. No new info has been announced for the Switch version. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on the Dragon Quest series.
