Atlus Announces Several Games for the West
From the strangest of journeys, to the most radiant of historias.
06.07.17 - 9:24 PM

With E3 fast approaching, Atlus has announced several titles that will not only be making their way to the West, but will also be heavily featured at the show. Among these are three titles for the Nintendo 3DS, and a highly anticipated Vanillaware title. So without further ado, read on to find additional details, screenshots, and trailers for each title.

13: Sentinels: Aegis Rim (not to be confused with Pacific Rim, mind you) has been missing in action for some time now, but Vanillaware's mecha-themed title is back and making its way westward thanks to Atlus. As is customary for Vanillaware's titles, it looks absolutely stunning, and we're excited to see more of it.

Next up, we have Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, a 3DS remake of the classic Radiant Historia on the original DS. Your mileage may vary on the new art direction, but Perfect Chronology takes an already fantastic game and adds an entire new branching path and other new content. Check out the video below!

At long last, we have a concrete release date for Etrian Odyssey V. This dungeon crawler invites players to explore the Yggdrasil Labyrynth, encountering FOES and other dangers along the way. But fear not, intrepid adventurers, for the reward is the journey itself. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

Last, but not least, we have Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, an enhanced port of the original Strange Journey that includes a bevy of new story content, as well as a new dungeon to explore. Strange Journey was originally hailed as the fourth mainline Shin Megami Tensei title before we, y'know, got an actual Shin Megami Tensei IV, so this is the perfect opportunity for fans of the newer entries to see what they've missed, and for veterans to return to.
