Fallout 4 Will Not Be Coming to PS3 or Xbox 360
It looks like the previous console generation is being left behind in the Wasteland.

Unless you've been living in an underground vault to avoid the nuclear holocaust, you may have heard that Fallout 4 is coming. The hype train started chugging along last week when a 24 hour countdown popped up on the official Fallout website. As it turned out, the countdown preceded the reveal of the Fallout 4 trailer. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the trailer below.

Since the trailer's reveal, a lot of speculation and dissecting has happened, with many people focusing on the way the game looked. While this game has been anticipated for a long, long time, many people began to believe that Fallout 4 would be released for PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as the current generation of consoles, since the game's graphics don't appear to be too demanding. Well, that is officially not happening.

The global community manager for Bethesda Softworks, Matt Grandstaff, took the speculation head-on in a NeoGAF forum on June 5. "It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we're doing will never work there."

And now, rather than end the speculation, it has simply been moved to theories about what "that stuff we're doing" could possibly mean. Fallout 4 will be set in Boston and released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date has not been announced. Maybe we'll get one at E3?
