Koch Media Registers Trademark for Bloodstained

Koch Media has registered the trademark for "Bloodstained," with the US and European trademark offices. In doing so, the parent company for game publisher Deep Silver is signaling its intent to use that name on a video game in US and European markets. The return to the Metroidvania genre by Koji Igarashi has been highly anticipated and wildly successful on Kickstarter.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this news means a Western release is planned as well.
