Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II's Scout System Explained
New HDD transformation screenies as well.

Developer Compile Heart recently updated their Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II official website with information on the scout system, along with a few new screenshots of the CPU candidates in their new HDD mode transformations.

Returning from the original Hyperdimension Neptunia, the "Scout System" gives players the option of sending scouts to dungeons to bring back useful information, credits, and items. Whenever a scout is sent to a dungeon a countdown begins as they go about their work. After the countdown expires, the scout will return to town and report on their findings. By sending scouts to dungeons, they can activate "Scout Effects" in that particular dungeon to alter experience points and money rates.

Scouts can sometimes uncover information on hidden treasures within the dungeon too. In order to get these hidden treasure chests to appear, players must use the scout information and verify it with information from other parts of the game such as markers on the world map, the library menu, and with dungeon maps. The number of hidden chests will vary from dungeon to dungeon, and it is important to remember that the unlocking condition for them must be fulfilled in the correct order for the next one to appear. Players who manage their scouts well will discover amazing treasures.

We also have screenshots of the 4 new CPU Candidates in their HDD forms. You can check them out below.
