But of course there are still a lot of those.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II is notorious for the alluring characters who make up your party, as the game's cover art demonstrates below. However, the newest addition to the Hyperdimension Neptunia series will strive to keep its gameplay interesting as well.

New to the series is the Parts Break system, which allows players to target specific parts of an enemy and attack them until they break. When parts take damage they turn yellow, and with enough damage they will break off and weaken or disable the enemy. Broken parts also grant bonuses like better loot, money, or exp.

In addition, Compile Heart has announced the Neplunker dungeon, a crossover with the Atari classic, Spelunker. They also introduced several CPU Candidates: Nepgear, Uni, Rom, and Ram. All of them have new skills, such as Nepgear's impressive eye-beams pictured below.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II comes out April 23rd on PlayStation 4 in Japan. Check out our coverage of the game's trailer and opening movie.
