A new video has been released featuring Tomoya Asano, one of the producers for Bravely Second: End Layer, as well as other developers, that recaps the lovely differences between the game and its predecessor. Take a look for yourself below.

Just in case that hour-long block of Japanese discussion left you with some questions, let's go over some of the key points.

If you hit the 4:50 mark, you'll notice that special moves will still have their own unique music. This part of the video lets you hear the Special Move grooves for Magnolia and Yu, as well as the new music for Edea and Tiz.

Moving on to 11:50, examples of just some of the new jobs are presented, along with how they fit different characters. If you've been dying to see Yu as a Cat Master, here's you chance. The other jobs that are shown are Patissier, Guardian, Astrologist, Exorcist, and Tomahawk. At 17:38, they show some of the jobs that are making a comeback in the sequel and how different they will look. Magnolia and Yu model the revamped looks for Time Mage, Black Mage, Valkyrie, Merchant, White Mage, Red Mage, Ranger, Performer, and Thief.

24:00 shows us a little bit on how the new "Barter Sub-Scenario" will work. In Bravely Second: End Layer, you will come across some Asterisk Holders that you may recognize from the first game. You will usually see them two at a time, and these two will be not too happy with each other. You will have to choose one to support and in doing so, you will get a chance to learn more about that particular Asterisk Holder's story. Be warned, as you will have to fight the Asterisk Holder you don't back and upon defeat, that is the Asterisk you will receive. You will have to choose between which story you find more compelling or which Asterisk you would rather add to your arsenal.

After this, they go into the new version of Norende Village, a mini-game from Bravely Default, where you are now aiming to save and stabilize the town by fighting "Demon Kings" as they come along. At 36:19, they show us a fight with Butterfly Tail, the Fourth Demon King. This fight also shows the Special Moves for different weapon types, and how you can use customization to your advantage.

Bravely Second: End Layer launches for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 23rd. A Western release date has not been announced yet.
