It has been a long time since we heard anything about Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. While the game's localization was announced early last year, not much else had been said concerning this beautiful turn-based RPG until recently, where it was revealed that Oreshika would be coming to the PlayStation Network on March 3rd for $19.99 US.

In Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, you play as members of a clan afflicted with both a Curse of Ephemerality and a Curse of Broken Lineages. Members of this clan age incredibly rapidly and are unable to procreate as a result of these twin curses, which ties into Oreshika's gameplay. Clan members will explore dungeons and fight demons while seeking a way to prolong the clan's existence by offering a Rite of Divine Union to one of various gods to create new clan members for when the old ones inevitably perish. Depending on both the parent clan member and the god you perform the Rite with, these new clan members will have different stats and appearances. For those who purchase the game within two weeks of launch, there will be a pair of exclusive gods available, called Kiri no Mashu and Tonkararin.

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines also has an exceptionally beautiful art style, reminiscent of traditional Japanese brush techniques- anyone besides me getting a serious Okami vibe from this?
