A couple of interesting pieces of information regarding Final Fantasy XV were given at the Taipei Game Show this weekend. It was revealed that XPEC Entertainment, a Taiwanese publishing and development firm, is one of companies helping to make the game a reality.

Along with this news, and due to the popularity of the original dog cam shown at Jump Festa late last year, a new area of the game was shown, this time using a cat cam. It was said that the cat cam was XPEC's idea, thinking that cats can reach places that dogs can't. An extended cut of the train scene showcased at Jump Festa was also unveiled.

The video begins with Noctis finding a seat at what appears to be a train station. The camera then cuts to a nearby cat, and the cat is used to explore the station. The train station, itself, appears to still be a work in a progress. You can watch both videos below; the man speaking is Aaron Hsu, the president of XPEC Entertainment.

Square Enix also announced that on February 5th, the next Active Time Report live stream will show at 8PM Japan time. During this event, the final trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be shown. It is also expected to dig into more of what was shown at the Taipei Game Show.

Final Fantasy XV is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No release date has been announced yet.
