Although already announced for PC, Mac and Xbox One, Daedalic Entertainment has stated that Silence: The Whispered World 2 will now also be coming to PlayStation 4.
A sequel to 2010's The Whispered World, it will star Noah, the young boy who woke up from a coma at the end of the first game. Now a teenager, Noah returns to his dream world in search of his younger sister, who was separated from him when their hometown was attack in a bombing raid.
While the first game featured 2D graphics, Silence: The Whispered World 2 uses a method called "camera projection" which allows for 3D models to maintain hand-drawn art's high level of detail and the benefits of 3D game design.
Although there is no exact release date, Silence: The Whispered World 2 is slated for "early 2015."
