New Legendary Pokémon Hoopa Revealed
You kids these days with your Hoopas and your Primal Reversions...

Do you think there's some kind of license to become a Legendary Pokémon, and that it must be fairly easy to obtain? Think about it. After a few centuries pass, submit your application to Arceus, take a brief seminar, sign the paperwork, and boom, you're now the latest mythical figure for whatever region you hail from, ready to lie in wait for the next ten-year old trainer with a Master Ball.

But, I digress. This month's issue of CoroCoro Magazine reveals the new Mythical Pokémon, Hoopa, a Psychic/Ghost-type Pokémon with the power to distort space. Though unofficially revealed by players who had delved into the data on their cartridges, the new legendary is now official. Hoopa, as its name implies, has an affinity for rings of any kind, and because of this has a particular fondness for donuts.

Hoopa will be making its debut in the 18th Pokémon movie, The Archdjinni of Rings: Hoopa, which will be released in Japan on July 18th. Keeping with the recent release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for 3DS, the movie will also feature Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.
