Sekai Project is currently considering the possibility of releasing the physcial, English version of Clannad to normal consumers. At the current time, if you wanted to secure a physical copy, the only way was to bust out your wallet and donate to the game's Kickstarter campaign. Sekai Project released a subbed video of the game's intro today, as today was the last day to donate.
The campaign reached its goal $140,000 within the first day and ended the campaign today with about $540,000 donated. Sekai project will also be writing a new Clannad anthology manga and will translate the "Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de" side-stories.
The release date for Clannad has not been unveiled.
