Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Released On 3DS eShop
No more need for promotional serial codes!

Nintendo of America announced on their Twitter account that the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire special demo version is now available on the North American 3DS eShop as a free public download.

The demo was previously only available via serial codes from online promotions and from local events. The demo allows players to transfer different items to the full games, including a Glalie with its Mega Stone. If you already own the full games though, there's nothing special you don't already have access to.

Availability of the demo as a free download outside of North America hasn't been announced yet.
