Telltale's Game of Thrones: Episode 1 Review
The adventure game developer digs into another well-known franchise. Do they deliver again?
12.06.14 - 12:24 AM

Telltale Games are not only highly regarded for their episodic adventure games, but have really made a name for themselves working with well-known properties in recent years, such as Back to the Future and, of course, The Walking Dead. Having just kicked off another series last week with the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands, you wouldn't think they'd already have another game on the market, but here we are.

The long-awaited inaugural episode of Telltale's Game of Thrones launched earlier this week, the first of six. You know the drill by now: Telltale releases a game, and Bob reviews it immediately. Tackling a story and franchise as beloved as Game of Thrones (or, you know, The Walking Dead) could be a risky prospect, so did the developers strike gold again?

Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series is available now on Steam for both Windows and Mac, Xbox Live, the PlayStation Store, iOS, and possibly a refrigerator near you.
