In addition to the above image (There are more in our gallery!), Square Enix has also released job specific videos detailing each possible option and showcasing the abilities of those jobs.  We've included each job video below!

Beastmaster -

Dragoon -

Machinist -

Dark Knight -

Ninja -

Time Mage -

Paladin -

Hunter -

White Mage -

While we know there are some jobs missing, these videos give us a clear idea of how all of the above classes will function.

Lastly, Square Enix announced three new Legend Characters.  For those unfamiliar with the way these characters work, Legend Characters are accessed via the Trance System, which allows players to borrow the powers of specific characters appearing in earlier Final Fantasy titles.  Most recently Yuna, Tidus, and Bartz were announced!

Back Back Back

Each of these new Legend Characters will grant players access to special abilities unique to their own repertoire.  Yuna will have access to Great Whirl, one of her abilities from Final Fantasy X-2, Tidus will have access The Blitz Ace Overdrive from Final Fantasy X, and Bartz will equip both the Brave Blade and Chicken Knife to attack enemies with a flurry of blows using his Spellblade Rapid Fire ability, a tactic originating from Final Fantasy V.

Final Fantasy Explorers comes out in Japan on December 18th for the Nintendo 3DS.  Be sure to check out our gallery, linked below, for more pictures of Amaterasu, new picture of Odin, new pictures of Leviathan, and a slew of new in-game shots for all of the above and more!
