Although Patch 2.4 is still without a release date, Square Enix today released their usual lengthy trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's next major update. Titled Dreams of Ice, patch 2.4 comes packed with the new rogue class and ninja job, a primal battle with Shiva, three new dungeons, new crafting recipes, story quests, Hildibrand quests, and the Final Coil of Bahamut, the third and section of the major endgame raid. You'll see all of these covered in the eight minute trailer below.
Dreams of Ice also comes along with a new Allagan tomestone currency (meaning that the tomestones of mythology will be no more) and the in-game 'eternal bond' system. The patch is expected later this month.
