Pokemon Omega & Alpha Introduce Mega Sharpedo, Camerupt, Gallade
And new info on Primal Groudon and Kyogre.

The October issue of CoroCoro magazine have revealed three new additions to the Mega Evolution roster in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire: Sharpedo, Camerupt and Gallade. As you'll see in the scans below, it seems all three have been chosen for a specific purpose. Let's take a look.

On the left, you'll see a page dedicated to Omega Ruby. It features Team Magma alongside their leader Maxie, some new info on Primal Groudon on the left, and Camerupt's new Mega Evolution in the bottom-left corner. Camerupt retains its Fire/Ground typing and will be used by Maxie. Primal Groudon has the 'Land of Endings' ability which causes sunlight and will have a new move called 'Cliff Sword.'

In the right scan we have Team Aqua from Alpha Sapphire. Like Team Magma, Team Aqua's leader Archie will use Sharpedo's new Mega Evolutionary form, which is Water/Dark in type. Primal Kyogre's ability causes rain on the battlefield and is called 'Sea of Beginnings.' It's new move is known as 'Primordial Pulse.'

For both Primal Pokémon, the length of time their weather abilities last is not mentioned. However, considering their regular forms have the same abilities (for five turns), perhaps these will work like the permanent rain and sun prior to Generation VI. Additionally, Rayquaza will apparently be related to the secret of Mega Evolution (below, left).

Also announced was Mega Gallade (above, right). It will still be Psychic/Fighting-type and have the Inner Focus ability. Pictured next to him his Wally who, if you've played the original games, you might remember is a friend of the main character. He starts off with a Ralts and, well, you can see the result above!

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will be available on Nintendo 3DS worldwide on November 21st (November 28th in Europe).
